Seven Things People Don’t Understand

How to fold a fitted sheet. My mom taught me. Martha Stewart would be proud.

Just because you’re a native Texan doesn’t mean you ride horses or own western boots, and most definitely not both at the same time.

How long it takes to process a library book.

You can judge the quality of a Tex-Mex restaurant by its salsa, rice, or margaritas.

Air pods are the worst type of earbuds because they’re designed to fall out and get lost.

As a newer resident of Texas I’m slowly learning this. I had to admit that I think after a few months of searching we have found our favorite spot. Their salsa is perfect and the margaritas are superb. And I wholeheartedly agree that people do not understand teaching. It is NOTHING like they think it is. I think they still think it is much like their school experience and it hasn’t been like that in a very long time.

    1. Welcome to Texas! A favorite spot is a must-have, glad you found one. As far as people not understanding teaching, don’t get me started. Sigh…

  2. Hey, at least I understand the book processing part. Thanks for the education about judging Tex-Mex! This is a fun post; I may just have to try it myself!

    1. At least in my expert personal opinion, that’s how I judge Tex-Mex, lol! I’ve been flailing this year with writing, so I’m glad you were able to use it to spark your own list.
